What is the One Concept Method? / Why do you present only one concept?
Because we dive deep into what your business is all about first, I'm able to present one strong concept that is the best fit for your brand. I still come up with and work on dozens of concepts before focusing on the one I'll be presenting to you, which we'll refine for up to 3 rounds if you so desire.
How long will my project take?
Although this is not set in stone, you can expect your branding to be completed in 4-6 weeks, and your website 6-8 weeks.
Is my deposit refundable?
Unfortunately, no. The deposit secures your spot in my calendar, which means I'm giving up a time slot that could have been filled by another client should you cancel.
How can I work with you?
This couldn't be easier. Just shoot me an email, and we'll get this party started!
Do you write my website copy for me?
Copywriting is not part of my services. You can download my free Website Content Guide here for some help with writing your copy, or I can refer you to copywriters I trust.
Do you provide imagery for my website?
Photography is not part of my services. You can download my free Website Content Guide here for some help with choosing your images, or I can refer you to brand photographers I trust.
Do you provide SEO for my website?
Basic SEO setup & Analytics to optimize your website is included in my Web Design Package. Writing for SEO on the other hand, is not part of my services and is best done by a professional.
Do you upload my blogs posts / products for me?
I will upload up to 5 blog posts / 10 products on your website. Upload of more blog posts / products will be charged at my hourly rate.
Do I need my copy and imagery ready to go?
Yes, you do. Failure to provide your copy and imagery by our agreed upon start date could result in the project being delayed, rescheduled, and/or a restart fee.
Do you purchase my hosting plan / my domain name for me?
No. Although I can provide help in recommending host providers / plans may you need it.
Please note Elisa Gilis Studio cannot be made responsible for server downtime, software issues or any other compatibility issue that may arise after the launch of the site from your hosting or domain provider.
Will you maintain my website after launch?
I don't offer ongoing maintenance services but included in every Web Design package is a training video to ensure you take ownership of your website and feel confident in editing it. Should you need any help going forward, feel free to shoot me an email so we can discuss your needs.
